Rokas Baciuška takes a step forward and will compete in the 2025 Dakar Rally with a new TOYOTA Hilux T1+ EVO vehicle.

On Tuesday afternoon in Tauragė, Rokas finally lifted the veil of secrecy and publicly unveiled the new race car he will compete with in the upcoming Dakar Rally. It is a brand-new TOYOTA Hilux, manufactured and assembled this summer.

“I am very happy. This is a completely different level and a big step forward. I want to sincerely thank everyone who contributed: my family, friends, fans, and, of course, my sponsors. Without them, I wouldn’t have achieved this goal and dream. A big thank you to my long-time partner, GBY, as well as my new sponsor, EZVIZ. Also, to Balcia Insurance, who have trusted me for two years now, and to Red Bull, who gives me wings. And, of course, to my hometown, the Tauragė District Municipality,” said Rokas.

The 2025 Dakar Rally will be especially competitive, but Rokas has set ambitious goals: a TOP 10 finish. To help him achieve this, his new-but-familiar co-driver from Spain, Oriol Mena, will step in, replacing Oriol Vidal, who is recovering from a back injury."I wish Oriol a speedy recovery and strength. His place in this Dakar will be taken by another Oriol, also from Spain—Mena. He was my first co-driver when we competed in my debut Dakar Rally," said Rokas.

The 2025 Dakar Rally will kick off on January 3 and run for two weeks until January 17. The rally, taking place in Saudi Arabia, will feature 12 stages.
